For any unfamiliar, I am Robin Schadel, an author who writes urban fantasy, paranormal romance, and gothic fantasy novels under various other pen names: R.S Parker (Sapphic Paranormal Romance), Rebecca St. Claire (Gothic Fantasy), and Elisabeth Shade (Heteronomrative Paranormal Romance). Most of my work is published under the imprint of Cursing Raven Books (hence the name of this substack).

For the most part, I will be using this space as a newsletter, which will be free of charge to all. I promise not to post more than twice per week. Most weeks will only see one post at most.

What will these posts contain? There will be a lot of book talk, behind the scenes at the writing desk discussion, probably a few pictures of my cats, the occasional video post, a few slice-of-life posts, and previews of upcoming work.

I am also considering offering more premium features that would require a minimal cost, such as serialized fiction releases, livestream brainstorming and/or Q&A sessions, and possibly charity fundraising streams. But that will be later down the road.

I will continue posting here and on my social media profiles, but the newsletter at Substack will have exclusive content (Free and Paid) and will be where information is released first!
